Hand Painted Lizard Gourd by renowned gourd artist Robert Rivera, Apache, Mexican, Spanish. This particular gourd was painted in 1997 has been kept in storage and in mint condition. The lizard's eyes are black onyx, and the lizards back has 3 turquoise cabochons in the center of each cross. The diameter of the cabochons is 3mm. The deep red color of the gourd contrasts beautifully with the lizard. The diameter of the gourd is 24cm at the widest point. The height of the gourd is 8cm.
