Handcrafted Buffalo Gourd Rattle by world renowned artist Robert Rivera. Beautifully hand painted and incised around the artwork of the buffalo. The diameter of the gourd is 18cm and the depth of the gourd is 8cm. The buffalo has a turquoise cabochon in the center and the rattle handle is wrapped in deer hide. The total length of the rattle is 47cm. This rattle was handcrafted in 1997 and is in excellent condition and has never been used. Signed by the artist, ONLY ONE AVAILABLE. -

The finished product looks like an original piece of pottery from the Pre - Columbian era. The artist specializes in this period, and his knowledge and passion show in his beautiful work.
