The handcrafted pottery Panther Effigy was originally rendered in wood by the Calusa Indians 200 – 1600 A.D. The Panther Effigy is sculptured from the local clays and is pit fired, the finished product looking like an original piece of pottery from the Pre – Columbian era.  The artist specializes in this era and his knowledge and passion shows in his beautiful work.
